The RCAF War Services Recreation Club held a prize draw at Frame's Hall at 10 15 p m on Saturday September 6 with Master of Ceremonies Sergeant Marsh introducing Group Captain A Lewis and Mayor E E Grant who drew the first six tickets. Special thanks go to Mrs A Lewis and Mrs F Brand for their hard work in preparation and the list of prize winners follows.

In Frame's Community Hall on Saturday September 13 Orlo Brown and his Melody Boys perform with admission 25c. On Wednesday September 17 the Avalonians from Souris, a 9 piece band, play for 35c. Congratulations to the campaign organizers aiding the Recreation Room.
A Tuesday shipment to Winnipeg includes mitts two-way and flying, a seamen's scarf, sweaters, shirts, slacks, sleepers, pyjamas, khaki handkerchiefs, and four quilts. Forty ladies attended the Red Cross Work meeting at the United Church annex. one more quilt nearly finished. Aluminum Drive urged for Friday and Saturday with wool knitted items for blankets and old furs welcome.
