Rivers Town Council approves multiple 1949 items for Rivers
A Rivers Manitoba council meeting approves paying 960.22, accepts a motor install bid up to 250, buys an electric heater for fire hall and extinguisher, and reverts to a Court of Revision. It finalizes 1944 assessment rolls, rehires Thringe as assessor for 1944, requires building permits, allocates 3000 from general funds and 7000 from electric light funds for Victory Loan bonds, rents town scales for 10, and authorizes a 15 expense for minister interview travel. Bylaws receive three readings and pass before adjournment.
