Autrey Elizabeth Cockburn to Donald John Gregor McKinnon in Kingston

The marriage of Autrey Elizabeth Cockburn daughter of Lieut Col Ernest and Mrs Cockburn Kingston Ont and Donald John Gregor McKinnon eldest son of Mr and Mrs Malcolm McKinnon Wheatland was celebrated September 19 at 3:00 p.m. in St George's Cathedral Kingston with Very Rev Briarley Browne officiating. The bridal party included Miss Shirky Anne Garmsey as maid of honor and bridesmaids Marilyn Van Dusen and Jean Blackburn. After the ceremony a reception was held in the officers mess Princess of Wales own regiment Kingston and the couple plan to reside in St Hubert's after a honeymoon.

Thirty members and one visitor attended the ladies auxiliary to the Canadian Legion meeting. Guest Mrs. W. Best of Gilbert Plains joined. The cancer tag day raised $110.60, sent to cancer headquarters. A St Johns home nursing course may be sponsored in spring if enough interest.
