October meeting notes and visiting guests in Daly area
The Daly Rural Council held its regular October meeting last Tuesday. Visiting guests include Mrs. Dave Lachuk of Ingersol Ontario at Mr and Mrs Peter Lachuk home and Mr and Mrs John H Blandford of Fort Garry on holiday. Wesley Brethour, brother of Mrs T Miners, is a well known Rivers figure staying with relatives. Nursing Sister Margaret Mills, formerly of Yorkton and No. 2 ACU RCAF Brandon, spent the weekend with her parents. Joyce Lee, daughter of Mr and Mrs R B Lee, is improving after an appendicitis operation in Brandon hospital and plans to resume Grade XII studies after returning from Winnipeg.
