Provincial Health Offers Stirring Address At Meeting
A small crowd gathered in the town hall on Friday evening as Dr Fraser Manitoba’s Provincial Health Officer delivered a stirring public address. He praised efforts in health conservation and urged a campaign to save lives amid Europe’s losses, highlighting public health work and child welfare. Dr Schwalm chaired the event and Dr Fraser received warm thanks at the close.

Red Cross Auxiliary Plans May Meeting and Supplies
The Red Cross Auxiliary announces a monthly business and social meeting on Friday May 10 at 3 p m at the home of Mrs Harry Evans. They report packed supplies for Red Cross Headquarters Winnipeg including 14 suits pyjamas 1 dressing gown and 17 pairs socks. Subscriptions to the Red Cross Fund are welcomed and may be left at the Gazette Office for acknowledgment by Mrs Offen, Sec Treas. A prayer service is held each Thursday evening at Boon.
