A family of five, recent English immigrants, lost their home near Middlechurch Manitoba to a fire of unknown origin. Mr and Mrs Hands and their three children John eight Mary six Francia four escaped with no income, with damage estimated over 95060. Edmonton Journal notes a royal commission on prices received little public or private comment.
