Manitoba Winter Fair Promises Sheep Dog Entertainment
The Manitoba Winter Fair runs March 16 to 20 with sheep dogs performing their skilled acts. Last year’s crowds enjoyed the dogs at the Royal Winter Fair, and this year tickets cost a quarter for one admission plus a chance at major and daily prizes. A grand prize of $26,000 in seed grain will be awarded on Friday March 20.

Canadian Pilgrimage to Vimy Memorial Next July
The great pilgrimage from Montreal to Vimy France to unveil the Canadian memorial to fallen troops will begin July 15 with four liners carrying ex service men and relatives.
