The Rivers School District intends to issue debentures for thirty thousand dollars to fund an addition. Fifteen thousand seven hundred eighty dollars is allocated to a Canadian agency. Debentures mature August 1, 1918 and are payable to bearer at the Bank of Commerce in Rivers Manitoba.
The Rivers No 1484 School District Trustees approve debentures bearing interest at 6 3 percent per annum payable August 1 of each year. Debentures signed by the Secretary Treasurer and countersigned by a Trustee, with payments funded from annual school taxes. Certified as a true copy of the bylaw passed at Rivers on May 16 1919.
The Town of Rivers council enacts By law No 119 authorizing the submission to ratepayers of By law No 10 of the School Trustees of Rivers No 1484 to borrow thirty thousand dollars for a public school addition. voting slated for July 11 1919 at the Town Hall Rivers with deputy returning officer E J Forman and tally on July 12. notice to be published in Manitoba Gazette and Rivers Gazette and posted publicly.
