Rivers annual Sports Day drew a good crowd despite unseasonable weather with baseball in senior and junior divisions, softball, and a Midway show. Teams from Isabella, Brandon, Hamiota, Mintota, Carnegie, Oak Lake, Kenton, Oak River, Griswold, Rapid City and others competed. prizes were awarded in senior baseball, junior baseball, and ladies softball. a dance with the Elkhorne Orchestra closed the day.
