Health officer G R D Lyon orders residents to clean yards and the lane adjoining remove papers tin cans and general rubbish. Place debris in piles along the lane line for removal by the scavenger Mantre. Household cleanup required by June 19.
Public Health Order on Waste Disposal Compliance
On and after July 1st every householder must have a regulation sanitary pail in closet and a properly fitting trap door on closet or closed in back and lift up seat. All kitchen and bedroom slops must be put in a barrel and kept covered. Anyone not complying with this order of Board of Health will be prosecuted.

Premier Norris Addresses Big Gathering
The Hon. I. C. Norris spoke in Wagar Hall to a packed audience Monday evening. Mayor Thompson chaired and A. E. Hill spoke briefly before Norris, who urged continued support by arguing most promises had been fulfilled. He was greeted with hearty applause as the meeting closed with God save the King.

Hospital Meeting Sets Cottage Hospital Fund Drive
