The Rivers School Board met on Thursday with Dr C R D Lyon presiding. G M Henderson of Oak River is confirmed as teacher for grades 7 and 8 at 1000 per year. R G Sinclair reappointed Sec Treas for 1926 27 at 150 per year. C Nowe to repair four rooms and hire help. School opens August 30.

The Community Club increased its War Memorial contribution by selling Tags during Fair Day. Miss Lenal Nowe won the prize for the highest amount collected as collectors and amounts follow.

No. 1 northern wheat $1.00 per bushel, 3 C.W. barley 50 cents, 2 C.W. oats 34 cents, 1 C.W. flax 150, 2 C.W. rye 70 cents. Third payment on last year’s crop to be issued before month end. two payments already made include initial $1 and 20 cent interim on March 15.
