Military District No 10 presents a high class show at Community Hall Rivers on Tuesday July 25 starting 8 30 pm to 1 am with an all out Army cast including Capt. W A Leary Sgt Harry Johnston Sgt Fred McClelland Sgt Cliff Holdsworth Pte Flora Scarthe and Pte Marion Young C W A C Soloists. Free entertainment sponsored by Rivers Branch of the Canadian Legion with lunch served by Red Cross ladies at reasonable rates.

Winnipeg Couple Wed at St Patrick's Anglican Church

Peder Air Cadets of Canada conclude first year with Rapid City parade
The Peder Air Cadets of Canada submitted by W S Stewart report that No 320 (Rivers) Squadron finished its first year with a July 1 sports parade in Rapid City. Senior Cadets attended a ten day Summer Camp at No 3 B&G Air School Macdonald, with training in Browning Gun study Hispano Cannon Turret Manipulation and organized sports. Dauphin Nee Pawa Cadets joined the camp. WC K F Gross C O led efforts and provided familiarization flights.
