Graduation Exercises of Rivers High School
Graduation exercises for Rivers High School Grades XI and XII were held on a Wednesday evening with about eighty attendees at a banquet in the 1.0 O F Hall. The program featured toasts, addresses, music, and presentations including a banner to Grade XI and remarks by Inspector Morrison and Mr. Birkinshaw.

Ten years ago Rivers celebrated Canada's Diamond Jubilee with a grand Callthamplen Parade led by veteran Sam McGlinch. Archie McKellar avoided a serious accident when a barrow team ran away, and Rivers Schoolteacher Miss Prout left for Portage la Prairie. Rev. H. T.
