Town of Rivers Plans 9000 Debentures for Electric Network
Bylaw 120 authorizes Rivers to issue nine thousand dollars in debentures for building electrical poles wires and appliances for transmission and distribution of power. It outlines 20 year repayment terms annual installments and a 784.66 dollar annual rate levy. The agreement with Grand Trunk Pacific Railway enables supply of surplus power under a five year contract beginning August 1 1919 with specific delivery terms pricing and meter testing provisions.
