United Service of Town Churches Observed at Knox Church
A united service under the United National Campaign of the Forward Movement gathered Methodist, Presbyterian, and Anglican congregations at Knox Church on Sunday despite bad weather. Rev. R. Schofield was detained in Winnipeg. Mr. Cann, a Winnipeg delegate, spoke on Des Moines Missionary Convention events and the aim to spread the Kingdom of God worldwide.

Knox Church Rivers and Robertson Church Pettapiece held annual meetings on May 21 and 23 with supper and large congregations. T R Grieve chaired. R G Sinclair served as secretary. Reports from Young People Sabbath School and Ladies Aid highlighted improvements. Knox Church noted 17 new members and the first communion roll on Feb 4 1909.
