D.O.T. Employee Dies From Monoxide Poisoning
Thomas Davidson a 40 year old Department of Transport employee at Rivers airport was found dead in his garage Saturday night from monoxide poisoning. He had worked five years and lived with his wife and two children near the port. He belonged to Rivers Masonic Lodge and Mt Sinai Chapter. Funeral held Tuesday morning with Brockies of Brandon in charge.

Teaching Staff Salaries Upped At Rivers Consolidated School

Soldier Sentenced to Two Months in Brandon Jail
Private R. W. McCanna of the Joint Air School was convicted of assault causing actual bodily harm and sentenced Friday in Brandon to two months in jail. The blow to T. E. Wright, manager of the Alexandra hotel in Rivers, broke his nose in the hotel parlor. Counsel B. R. Coleman appeared for the accused.
