A directors meeting at the Korman Block discussed a Gas Engineering course to be held in Rivers and plans to install a library. An advertisement seeks a Secretary Treasurer. February institute meetings will feature illustrated lectures by Alms. The next meeting is Saturday, Jan 10 at 3 pm in the Korman Block.
Five years ago a favorable Rivers School condition report was received from Inspector J. J. Wight after his recent visit. Chas Howard led an auction sale of goods and chattels formerly owned by J. Easton under a basls order. John O'Brien has assumed a livery business in Harmtota. Watchnight service held at the Methodist Church on New Year’s Eve.
