The Women’s Institute hosts a concert on Friday May 3 at 8pm featuring two one-act plays and musical numbers including a trumpet solo and an orchestral piece. Admission to the concert and dance is 25c with dance only 25c and children 15c.
The Board of Trade approves the Curling Club move to build a skating and curling rink in Rapid City and pledges active cooperation and support. Railways offer year round service, while Our Exchanges buses resume summer schedule with Winnipeg Russell service starting Tuesday.
A Saturday afternoon gathering in the Locomotive Foreman’s office saw C N R employees present S B C Hardy with a purse of money on his retirement after over 18 years as Clerk in the Locomotive and Car Department. P J Sproule spoke for the subscribers and wished him health and happiness in his well earned rest. Hardy thanked the group for the gift and good wishes.
