Winds aided the glow as snow faded and last year’s dry grass burned off by many residents. On Saturday night a large prairie fire south and east of town provided a notable display.

Mrs Fred Taylor and Norman left for Redcliffe to rejoin husband. Mrs G R D Lyon left for Winnipeg en route to Ottawa, met former friends. William Wareham returned from Brandon Hospital after appendicitis. Accompanied by Albert Wareham, Walter Lowe of Bradwardine convalescing and visiting relatives.
