A meeting of the Rivers Senior Baseball Club will be held in the Town Hall on Tuesday next the 20th at 8 pm.
The Council considers passing an early closing bylaw. Any person objecting should present objections at the next regular meeting of the Council on April 7.
The Town of Rivers Manitoba passes Bylaw No relating to early closing of shops starting May 1 1920. Shops must close 6 30 pm on weekdays and 6 am to 6 pm next day. Saturdays and pre-holiday eves close 11 pm and reopen 6 am next business day. Violations carry fines up to 50 and costs or up to 30 days in Brandon gaol.
