Willows Plant a Willow Tree at Rivers Elementary School
Rivers Elementary School honoured Bruce and Michelle Willows retirement after a combined 65 years of teaching. A willow tree was planted near the playground, with custodian Kevin Jay digging the hole and Bruce planting it after a June thank-you party in the school gym. Bruce and Michelle have two sons, Brett and Riley, and remain active in local education and gardening projects.
