Rivers Ag Society closes after 111 years of service
The Rivers Agri cultural Society voted to disband on August 26 2021 ending a community chapter active since 1910. Insurance costs dwindling volunteer support and leadership gaps plus the fall 2020 land handover to Riverdale Municipality precipitated the decision despite a rich history of fairs horse shows 4 H clubs and community events dating back to 1910.
