Legion News Branch 75 Seeks Better Attendance After Summer Break
The Legion Branch 75 meeting on September 10, chaired by President Ken Young, drew a sparse turnout among 200 plus members. The group gave thanks to volunteers, noted unchanged dues due to no raises from dominion or provincial commands, and planned a joint fund drive with the Ladies Auxiliary. A campaign will address tax issues on foreign veterans’ pensions, and a tribute recalls British fighter Johnny Johnson and his wartime record.
