Auxiliary meeting notes and fund drive update
The meeting on Monday September 6 featured reports by peg Winnie Longmwir and Dorothy Beedie and discussed an appeal for funds for the provincial council university scholarship fund, approving a $100 donation. Cards from award recipients were read to honor bursaries and flowers, with thanks to Sanderson wedding and funeral lunch organizers for the Dunn Frederick and Turmer families. Tickets for the Poppy Day luncheon on November 11 were distributed by ways and means, offering an oak deacon bench and a $100 Stan's IGA gift certificate as prizes.
