The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba launches an eight week Heart to Heart program for heart attack and angina patients and partners. Each two hour weekly session combines education risk factor assessment and group support led by trained facilitators with videos and small group discussions.
The Rolling River Festival of the Arts relocates to Minnedosa for 1994 and 1995 with a new executive led by Shirley Russell and Elaine Chrisholom. Speech Arts will join Provincial Finals and National Finals. a workshop feasibility study is planned. Executives met, committees formed, and regional exchanges shared ideas for growth.
