Canada's forage sector tops $5 billion in value
The forage and grassland industry in Canada totals 5.09 billion in direct economic value, ranking third after wheat and canola. CFGA cites 70 million acres in production and expects the sector to be highlighted at its Winnipeg conference November 15 to 17, with a pre conference farm tour to SG and MBFI research farm.
