Rivers CDPI Seeks Members to Boost Community Health

The Rivers Chronic Disease Prevention Initiative seeks new committee members to promote healthy living in Manitoba. Project funded by Manitoba Health and ARHA aims to reduce diabetes cancer and cardiovascular and other diseases by encouraging healthy eating activity and tobacco-free living. Possible activities include fruit smoothies in schools a pedometer loan program and teen smoking cessation support.
