Fire hall in Kenton hosts an open house showcasing junior members in a high school credit program for 60 and 120 hours. Volunteers displayed training in first aid ground fire surface water rescue and vehicle accident response while announcing planned equipment upgrades.
The Rapid City 4 H Beef Club held its October 8 2024 reorganiz at Bootsman s barn with 15 members across Cloverbuds juniors intermediates and seniors. Officers include President Kendra Hinsburg Vice President Breelee Bootsman Secretary Kate Hinsburg Treasurer Kaleb Bootsman Reporter Swayzie Bootsman and Photographer Ryler van Meij. Leah Bootsman named Head Leader for 2024 25 with volunteers Jolie Bootsman Kendra Bootsman Kerri Hinsburg Doug Finlay and Eric van Meijl assisting. A John Inglis Memorial Bursary is offered to any member who submits an essay. The next weigh day and meeting are set for December 8 2024 at Hinsburg s Farm with a 2 pm weigh in and potluck supper.
