Canada Savings Bonds new issue announced by minister

Finance minister Gilles Loiselle announced a new Canada Savings Bonds issue to cash purchase starting Monday October 18 with a second sale on November 1 1993. The 12 year term offers Regular and Compound interest forms with denominations from 100 to 10 000 and a 5 certificate limit per denomination for registered owners. Prior CSBs issued before 1987 will mature by November 1 1993 and stop earning interest.
