Gingerbread village fundraiser brings Christmas spirit
Michelle McFadden uses a 20 by 14 inch gingerbread village pattern from the 1950s to raise funds for Rivers Elementary Play Structure. She sells raffle tickets at Rivers Elementary, Westoba Credit Union, Super Thrifty Pharmacy during the Santa Claus parade, and at the December 15 16 Christmas concert with a December 16 draw. Proceeds go to the school project and the winner will receive the edible prize before Christmas.
