Rivers Legion Shop the Block Holiday Market Draws Crowds
The Rivers Legion Hall hosted the Shop the Block Holiday Market on Saturday November 16 2024 with about 125 attendees despite snow. Twenty three vendors set up, selling crafts and baked goods as locals shopped and dined on hamburger soup and chicken tortellini for ten dollars. Organizers collected nonperishable food for Riverdale Food Bank Christmas Cheer, and a 50 50 raffle prize of 136 went to Jaimee Waldner.
