A first time Health and Wellness fair at the Legion Hall in Rivers drew 212 sign-ins plus unseen attendees. Nurses offered about 200 flu shots while cholesterol and blood sugar tests drew long lines. Local groups Medichair, Diabetes Association, and Addiction Foundation displayed. Constable Soltys promoted home and vehicle safety. Prizes included millennium coins from Taylor's Home Hardware and gloves from Comfort Designs.
