Rivers Woman's Institute Holds Annual Meeting in Rivers
Isabel Hoffman reports Rivers WI held its annual meeting on November 10 with a noon lunch at a Chinese cafe and then at Joyce Johnson's home. Members reviewed an educational year, discussed attitude, action plans for education, landscaping talks, health topics, safety hints from a Hamiota mountie, and notes from world and regional conferences. Officers were installed, a quilt was made for raffle, and meetings continue the second Friday each month at 1 30 p.m.
