Re-purposed lumber from old Oakner elevator used in new addition
Donald and Devon Caldwell turned 15 year old Oakner elevator timber into a 20 by 26 foot three season room with 15 foot high beams set on 10 foot piles. Timber from White Oak and Cedar was milled in Ontario and planed. The project, aided by Phil Corney and contractor Brad Nixon, turned salvaged lumber into a striking veranda extension on the Caldwell home.
