Legion Ladies Auxiliary Plans Christmas Activities and Elections

The Legion Ladies Auxiliary met with 23 members on November 2. Fees rose due to higher per capita tax. A donation to the Cancer Society was approved. Plans include Poppy Day luncheon setup on November 10 and November 11 service at Rivers Collegiate. Madame Maxine Veitch to lead the parade float for the Santa Claus event on November 27. Christmas supper is set for December 7 at 6 30 p m with items donated to Riv erdale Harvest and Christmas Cheer. Guests will be transported by Handi Transit.

Puzzle mural project eyed for CN station restoration
