Rivers and District Pipe Band Bench Installed
Donna Falkevitch reports the Rivers and District Pipe Band bench was installed at Riverdale Community Centre by Rapid City Memorials on Oct 28. The inscription notes the band formed in 1959 under Pipe Major Don Mitchell with Legion 75 and local support, served as ambassadors locally and internationally, and disbanded in the late 1990s.
