Not what Ford intended truck sinks in lake near resort
A 52 year old man drove a Ford four by four off road vehicle into Lake Wahtopanah on May 19. A diver found the submerged truck and winch cable, pulling it out with help from ABC Auto Service and Towing. The man escaped injury as the vehicle sank to the lake bottom off Saulteaux Lane at Chimo Resort. Autopac wrote the vehicle off after more than 24 hours underwater. Ke Kilmury moved to Rivers in June 2013 as part of that relocation.

Electric cars promise huge fuel savings and local economic impact
Manitoba studies show 25 000 km costs about 425 with electricity from hydro dams near zero emissions. In 2011 Manitobans spent 23 billion on petroleum products, much leaving the province. If 1 percent switch, $10 million stays local while charging shifts income to Manitoba Hydro and boosts disposable funds.
