On Friday May 18, 16 Rivers 50 Chub members with Garry Nielsen visited the wind farm project at St Leon Manitoba. They stopped at Glenboro to meet Sara the camel, viewed a windmill at Holland, lunch at St Claude, saw the Pipe and cenotaph and a Roman Catholic Church, then Roseisle’s metal rose sculpture and an artists gallery in St Lupicia. They finally saw 63 turbines near Altamont and returned home via Stockton after an Assiniboine River ferry ride.
