Sid Lewis notes slow warm weather delays the dandelion control program. Residents in weed district excluding Rivers may call 204-764-2128 or visit town offices to have yards treated. Fall spraying preferred. spring work limited to top control with possible program changes this fall.
Marilyn Reid completed Declarations of Office and assets. Culvert request denied due to shallow approach and short water presence. Water line testing set mid May with road work after restrictions ease. Re inspections June 10 to 14. Sidewalk from Miller Street to Hedley Street discussed with cost checks. Pot hole filling materials approved. Rain barrels for garden watering funded by grant. Teeter totter cost to be explored. Town cleanup May 25 and 26 with foreman pickup. Dust control planned on Hedley Street and parts of South Railway and Delap streets. Next meeting June 3 at 7 30 p.m.
