Manitoba Youth Job Centre Opens Amid Community Support
The Manitoba Youth Job Centre announces its opening with Mayor Roy Stevenson and local leaders at the ribbon cutting. Youth programs director Leslie Lounsbury invites registrations, urges donations, and outlines office hours and a plan for an Odd Job Squad for youths aged 12 to 16. Ribbon cutting by the mayor highlighted a May 14 open house with community support from Stan's IGA R&D's Flowers and Prairie Grain Bakery.
