Lake Wahtopanah Algae Bloom Reduction Initiative
The Little Saskatchewan River Conservation District announces funding for projects to reduce nutrient loading in Lake Wahtopanah and its watershed north of PR 355 and east of Highway 10. Eligible projects include retention ponds, livestock water options, grassed waterways, wastewater infrastructure upgrades, or other ideas. First come, first served until funds expire, with completion aimed by Dec 31, 2010 pending permits.
