Acres of Hope plots seed for Canadian Foodgrains Bank
On Friday May 5 seed sowing began on 126 acres at Acres of Hope north of Rivers. John Krahn checked seed depth while Brandon of Mazer Implements seeded. Mazer donated equipment and worker. UGG Norman provided canola seed and Simplet funded $500 for fertilizer. Harvest aids feed the world's hungry, with government matching four to one. Audrey Ashton photos.
