Hostile Takeover Tour brings CWE to Rivers for fundraiser
The Hostile Takeover Tour stopped at Riverdale Community Centre in Rivers on Saturday May 6 to raise funds for the Rivers Firefighter Association. A Rivers High School Hockey Academy canteen fed attendees while bar proceeds aided the Rivers Legion. Seven matches entertained a crowd of ages 5 to 75 as Marty Gold kept the show moving. Jimmy Jacobs defeated Bobby Collins in a junior heavyweight bout, while Shaun Martens overcame Sammy Peppers after an alleged ropes leverage pin.
