Palliative Care Garden Suite Opens at Riverdale May 9

A year of renovations at Riverdale Personal Care Home funded by Riverdale Health Services District Foundation culminates in an official opening on May 9 at 2 p.m. The project began with a seven thousand dollar loan repaid with help from local supporters and the Thomas Sill Foundation.

Spring recreation programs announced in Rivers calendar

Recreation Director Claudia Nohr announces spring programs in Rivers including a June 9 garden stepping stone workshop 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the recreation office with a June 1 registration deadline. Golf lessons run June 5 12 and 13 at Riverdale Golf and Country Club with May 30 registration. minimum eight participants. A June 10 willow furniture class requires June 4 signups. Junior golf runs May 4 11 18 June 1 8 15 and 29.
