Breast cancer education notice encourages self examination and early detection. Rivers Women’s Institute and Riverdale Health Services host a free Breast Self Examination Learning Clinic at Rivers Medical Centre on April 5 from 7 to 9 30 pm with video viewing and nurse instruction. Pre registration is required.
At the February 29 Oak River 4-H Club meeting at the school twenty two members attended. Reports covered the district bonspiel and Junior Conference with dates listed for April 1 April 27 May 7 and June 4. Winners were Adam Reid Julia Stewart Charles Stewart and Erin Brown. Next meeting set for April 4 at 7 15 pm in the Oak River Elementary.
