Rivers memories mark moves and milestones across decades
A stitched recap shows 85 years ago 1724 Snompson and Hellofsopyou Theatre moved to Gretna and 75 years ago Winnipeg ring necked pheasants were liberated on Rivers farms. It notes a River Board of Trade push for a new post office, a 1944 blood donor clinic, hotel leadership changes, church voting on closure, newborns, bank shifts, a severe storm, and local civic events through 2004 including crime fundraisers and a major bankruptcy affecting Crop Tech Rivers.
