Rapid City 4 H Beet Club Reports Leather Clinic and Speech Day
The Rapid City 4 H Beet Club held its March 9 meeting and rescheduled a leather clinic to March 20 where members learned tanning tools and made belts with varied patterns. Peter and Rina Schueler were thanked for enabling the leather experience at All About Leather. Ten speeches were held on the 13th in Neepawa, with two club members presenting. On the 21st at Horner ranch weights for beef cattle were recorded, followed by lunch and rope halter making. A judging showmanship clinic is set for May 8 at the Rapid City rodeo grounds with merited participants bringing halter-broke cattle to compete.
