In 1988 Louise Montague died and hospital staff funded a trophy for Rivers and District Figure Skating Club to award to the most dedicated skater. The prize has been given annually at the club’s carnival at Riverdale Community Gardens, with the current winner presented by last year’s holder on Friday March 10.
