Elton Council Advances by Law Changes and Budget Actions
Elton council discussed the Capital Development By law with no changes. A meeting March 14 with Cornwallis on Water Tanker By-law proposed changes was requested. The Financial Statement for February 29 2024 was approved. Multiple cheques were authorized totaling 122 031 37. The Farthing Development Agreement was rescinded. Council approved community centre agreements and payments for personal device use. Sponsorships and fundraiser tickets were approved. CAO to attend MMA Session with expenses covered. Several reports noted snow removal praise and ongoing planning work. Road restrictions due to spring conditions and Evergreen Environmental Technologies projects were reported. A resident survey on waste collection was requested.
