Rivers Bonspiel concludes with heavy ice and close results
The Rivers Bonspiel final games finished last week with heavy ice hindering play. Winners in the consolation event were T W Offen, C H Gabe, and M Henderson. Chas Angel’s rink, though winning 11 games, missed prizes, edging out repeatedly. In other town news, a drama club staged two one act plays at LO OF Hall to a solid crowd despite influenza worries.
